Launched in May 2001, Realestateview is a joint venture between the Real Estate Institute of Victoria Ltd. (REIV) and Victoria's leading real estate agencies and delivers an extensive range of quality, property-related Internet services. As at May 2007, The REIV holds 69.7 per cent share of Realestateview, with the remaining shares owned by real estate agencies in Victoria and Nationally.

With in excess of 40,000 current property listings for sale and rent contributed by more than 600 local and interstate agent offices, Realestateview provides consumers with a high level of content and detail.

Realestateview features a unique virtual mapping service that enables buyers to locate properties and identify sought-after facilities in the precinct including schools, transport, shops, restaurants, hotels, community and sporting amenities, hotels, churches and medical centres.
