The clearance rate was 69 per cent last weekend compared to 68 per cent the previous weekend and 64 per cent for the same weekend last year. There were 423 auctions reported to the REINSW last weekend, with 293 selling and 130 being passed in, 18 of those on a vendor bid. As the market heads into the cooler months it is worth remembering that vendors can achieve good results throughout the year and not just in summer and spring. The winter months last year saw clearance rates in the mid to high 60's which was consistent with the entire year.
