Rapport and professionalism are number one for me, which are underpinned by the experience I bring to the table for each of my clients, as well as the industry recognition I’ve picked up over the past 10 years. I’ve also spent my whole life – growing up, going to school, working – in the Caulfield/St Kilda East area. The community being what makes it so special. Everyone’s friendly, approachable, kind-hearted and, importantly, looks out for their neighbours.
I’ve seen a lot change in real estate over the past 27 years, but the one thing I’m still surprised by is that people still forget the basic mantra of giving vendors and purchasers, alike, straightforward, honest advice. For my clients, I’m also a firm believer that, together, local knowledege, combined with years of experience in the industry, is a powerful tool. I was born and bred in Caulfield. Firstly, it’s a safe area, which is great for families. There’s a real sense of community here, something, I believe, is very important. You’ve also got a number of beautiful parks and a raft of transport options at your disposal. The best coffee in area is our office local: The Spot. Great staff and really good value.
Real estate is about communication. From both a client’s and our point of view, it’s that simple. It’s also about working hard and treating the result you’re trying to achieve for a client as if it were your own property, one of the key things I’ve learnt in the 30 years I’ve been in the industry. Beyond that, though, I’d say the key thing I offer my clients is an intricate knowledge of property portfolio investment building. I’m very active in all aspects of the Caulfield business, overseeing both the commercial and residential property-management teams. I always look forward to busy weekends where I'm regularly sought as an auctioneer for our three offices – Caulfield, St Kilda and St Kilda East. Being community-minded’s vital. We’re always looking to support local charities, sporting associations and the like – all of which are so important in helping to maintain a strong sense of community in the area. As well as ensuring it remains a safe, family orientated suburb. Caulfield offers a real, modern multi-cultural community experience.
