Conloi is a well situated, top class property with a great variety of pasture and soil types on which cattle do extremely well. The property has been managed on a rotational grazing basis ensuring that pastures are rested for long periods, thus improving soil health, increasing soil carbon and overall biodiversity. The current owners have undertaken many improvements and pasture development initiatives, however there is still potential to further increase carrying capacity. The opportunity to harvest the commercial timber provides a source of extra income.
The Property has been the basis of a Wagyu Supply Chain breeding and backgrounding steers that are then grain-fed for 300 days and sold on forward contracts to a couple of selected customers.
