Yesterday marked the 2nd Real Estate Business Annual Secrets of the Top 100 Agents Conference. The first of 3 locations, Melbourne had 6 of the country’s top ranked real estate agents providing their expertise to a room full of agents looking for the secret to success.
Hosted by the energetic Rik Rushton, the speakers covered topics from ramping up your listings and beating competition, to how to breakthrough to become a top 100 ranked agent, presented by agents from Fletchers, Marshall White, RT Edgar, Ray White & Jellis Craig.
One of the standout speakers for the day was Fletchers Real Estate’s Tim Heavyside who kicked off the day with ‘How to get from good to great’. Tim hilariously gave the crowd a background into his real estate journey as well his tips on how to be more than good. But to reach great. The highlight of his incredibly relatable and interactive presentation, was Tim’s way of displaying perception and communication with a game. Oddly titled “Eat poop you cat,” the game required the audience participation from the entire room which had everyone in stitches.
Rik Rushton finished up the day with “The DNA of Master Agents.” This motivational and highly engaging exhibition was touched on how to change your thinking and behaviour to reach a level of “mastery” as well as where to focus your energy in the workplace and how to manage your time. Rik certainly has a way with the crowd and didn’t lose the attention of a single person in the room.
The conference was a great day for any agent or principal looking for that push of motivation to take the leap into being highly successful. Or for agent who wants to see how others in the industry manage their clients, their marketing and the time to the best of their abilities.
Unfortunately, if you are on the west side of the country, you miss out on the fun. The REB Conference will continue through to Sydney on the 30th of August and then to Brisbane on the 6th of September.
