Spring is traditionally the most robust real estate season of the year. But by all reports, August has been keeping real estate agents just as busy as the warmer months, with a number of top sales achieved in the last month of winter.

Following is a selection of some of the most exclusive and unique top-end homes sold throughout August…

Over in Middle Park, a vendor accepted an offer of $3.5m on this charming three-bedder, which boasts a modern chef’s kitchen and a fully renovated bathroom.

Mosmon – $2m

A budget of $2m doesn’t always get you far in Sydney these days, but the new owners of this light-filled Mosman townhouse were thrilled to get same change from their spend of $2m on this lovely home.

Sydney – $7.1m

But out west is where buyer’s really get some bang for their buck: a purchase price of $3.2m secured this renovated four-bedroom home in Kemps Creek, which sits on five acres of land.

Lastly, proving that Perth’s property market is still turning over (despite the sluggish economy), this stunning family home sold relatively fast for the competitive price of $770,000.
