December is generally a quiet time of year for real estate, yet there were still some incredible homes that went under the hammer. Here are some of the top properties across the country that changed hands in the past month.

Victoria Top Properties

Mornington – $6 million

With three levels all featuring a stylish modern interior, this stunning Mornington home ticked all the boxes. It’s three expansive balconies, private access to Mills beach and unrivalled views helped this home hit a massive price tag of $6 million.

Toorak – $4.6 million

The new owners of 7 Springfield Avenue are sure to enjoy the architecturally-inspired design by Wendy Nettle. Purchased for $4.6 million, the spacious rooms, outdoor entertainment section and exclusive pocket location will more than satisfy.

Balwyn – $4.35 million

Flaunted as the ultimate development opportunity, these two semi-detached homes sit in the ideal location, right in the heart of blue-chip Balwyn. With top-restaurants and schools within reach, the property sold for just over $4 million.

Brighton – $1.375 million

Duncraig – $701k

Sold in just six days, 56 Granadilla Street is an older home with a lot of potential. It sold for $701k, and with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and four car spaces, its new occupants will enjoy the large and versatile spaces.

Isaacs – $1.2 million

There are plenty of reasons to have purchased this three-level home, not least the outdoor swimming pool, spa and entertaining areas, enormous upstairs parents’ retreat and the multitude of living areas and bedrooms. It sold for $1.2 million.
